LinkedIn “likes” are like partial reshares, because they might show up in follower streams, and they do show up in your “activity” stream. So if anyone wants to find one of your posts, say, they will see what you liked, in your activity stream.
Which makes people more “self-conscious” about their “likes” because it is part of “managing” their presentation… And isn’t only a gesture of appreciation and support.
