There was all the wack-ass stuff around Keith Henson and extroprianism (who were convinced their clones would throw a party hundreds of thousands of years in the future on the other side of our galaxy) who spent a lot of time getting into fights with another cult, the Scientologists. But hey, you got those big O'Neill space colonies that Gundam borrow.
