@adele @lienrag Enforcing disclosure of AI use is a) virtually impossible and b) could potentially be weaponized to challenge author's Intellectual Property rights or validity of signature.
By scanning for these disclosures, a malicious actor could claim the code can't be copyrighted (because an AI was involved) and thus they can't be sued if they steal said code.
The Debian approach really is pretty damn solid and thorough.
People dissing Debian for it might be eating their own words later.
