China's single time zone demonstrates that people will adapt to whatever numbers are on the clock. I mildly prefer year round Standard Time just because it's closer to Solar Time, but that's because of my niche interests. Most people do not care about that. They very much do care about not having to dick with clocks twice a year and suffer from stationary jet lag. Year round Standard Time, year round Daylight Time, world-wide GMT - all would be fine. Stop messing with clocks!
