10 years ago I compiled a list of essays for a book project (Queer Privacy).
No where close to perfect. There are a million things I would do differently.
It sold ~1000 copies (mostly ebooks) - by most metrics...insignificant.
Yet everywhere I have gone for the last decade people have gone out of their way to tell me they appreciated that work / that it helped them / that it made some small difference in their lives.
Work worth doing.
