so, fascinatingly, it turns out the hydraulic line on our bike does actually have a slow leak at the screw thread. had to leave it a week to seep enough to matter. it's not a screw that needs to ever come out, and if it did it would be to replace the whole line, so, we're thinking we're gonna put some loctite on it...
