@cwebber If our motivations for building these machines are still rooted in ambitions to have perfectly compliant slaves and to undermine labor, and if these machines are still let loose on unsuspecting people as substitutes for supports and relationships they need from other humans, and if these machines are still tools for spreading misinformation and deep fakes "at scale", then no. I mean, you can wave the wand, but those problems will remain.
