Something that frustrates me a lot is that if you're trying to push back against some huge societal injustice or problem, but isn't perfectly on point every single time, basically everyone will start dogpiling you and make fun of you, even though they don't have the same standards for people pushing for the status quo.
Like, if you push back against the dominance of religion but you're not a religious scholar and don't have encyclopedic knowledge of every single claim in ever single denomination of every single religion, people are gonna treat you like an idiot. And like, it's not hard to find religious people who don't even know the scholarly principles of their own religion, let alone have a basic understanding of secularism.
And this is kind of a difficult thing to call out cus in isolation it's not wrong to straighten out a few misconceptions, even if they are being an ass about it, but there's a larger question of who's allowed to be ignorant and who's expected to be an expert on something they at minimum aren't a fan of and at worst have a fair degree of trauma wrapped up in.
