Been working on my own custom syntax theme, specifically for when I'm writing my blog posts in Markdown in my IDE that prioritizes both readability and joy.

Trying to figure out a name. 🤔

Code editor showing a Markdown file with sections titled "Error-Checking," "Meta Descriptions," and "Filters." The Meta Descriptions section explains that descriptions should be between 70 and 160 characters, with part of the paragraph struck through. The Filters section shows a Nunjucks code block setting a pageDescription variable that falls back to a site description and truncates it to 155 characters, then uses it in meta description and Open Graph tags. Below that, a bulleted list notes pages with descriptions that were too short, linking to /now/, /search/, /slash-pages/, and /guestbook/ on brennan.day. A final Markdown code block shows a before-and-after example of a page description, expanded to mention "recent updates."
