With this particular case of whatever’s going on with Bandcamp, well, I've been really impressed with some of the work that @mirlo is doing! And I've been really happy with self-hosting my own recordings using an absurdly bespoke SSG.
But I’m not going to go after may favorite musicians who are on Bandcamp and tell them “I refuse to buy your music now!” and “Just use Mirlo!” or “Just build your own static site generator!” — because that is an asshole thing to do.
