I made the mistake of checking the news.
An account of someone who has been unemployed for 4 years and struggles with constant rejections (much like I have done) next to constant hand-wringing over how the government pays young people too many disability benefits.
I feel trapped in the system too; I would like to work but I have no clue who would employ me after so many rejection letters. I get the impression that thanks to fatigue, ASD, and ADHD, I can't work conventionally without burning out but I might be able to cope with unconventional ways of working. But what employer will employ someone who needs adjustments when they can just employ someone who (a) doesn't need those adjustments and (b) who doesn't have a CV gap?
