Kurtz's alarming underlying worldview makes this post, if anything, the more interesting. It maybe portends a future where centrists/neoliberals/"Democrats" cling ever-harder to an insistence everything is fine, while conservatives and leftists point to the same ballooning problems while proposing opposite solutions.
