In "normal" (non-tiling) mode, it's very easy to use keyboard shortcuts to reposition a window to a half or quarter of the screen.
One feature I'd love: A keyboard shortcut to position a window in the middle 50% of a screen (using all vertical space).
When I manually position windows, I usually do this for my main application, and have other apps partially visible behind it to the left/right for easily tabbing between them. (Tools like Divvy let you do this on macOS.)
