*This* is why. If I’m not angry about all of this, then I’ve resigned myself to the problem. If I’m not loud, then I’m not using my voice (which I’m incredibly privileged to have).
I’m not saying everyone else should be loud and angry. But it’s always a good thing when other privileged people consider how they can apply their privilege toward addressing our problems, rather than using it to perpetuate them.
