One could argue that the profits of AI should be returned to the people, and that will provide all of the excess infrastructure AI needs and pay for the cost of living of all of the unemployed workers
But to get there one has to take the (currently rather delirious) optimistic view that AI companies will one day produce revenue in excess of their costs
