prototyping out a 6m amateur band quad loop antenna spreader system, made out of PVC parts. I will glue it up tomorrow.
the screw-together arms mean (a) it breaks down to manageable sized pieces for transport in an automobile trunk to a field site, and (b) I can extend the arms by screwing in more sections & thus try to use the same spreader-center piece for building antennas for other bands.
we shall see
