notice that it doesn't even matter whether anyone inside the company concretely knew that the specific proof strategy had been stolen. they may or may not have, but they're the ones who built a fucking plagiarism machine. the company supposedly knows more about how it works than anyone else in the world, and that absolutely makes it responsible for the consequences of using it.
