I know being in software is just so exhausting right now, but I'm taking this as a reminder that we don't have to constantly be on the defensive and caught up into endless arguments
friends, if you're exhausted by arguing with boosters, please consider just stopping that completely once you realize what's happening and changing gears to work with people you've already identified as allies; there is so much work we still need to do if we are going to preserve "software that actually works and can be understood" in the coming years
