What is your earliest memory?

If you have thought about the question before and identified an early memory, when you recount it again, it is more likely that you are remembering what you choose to remember.

But sometimes a snapshot of the past can resurface, a combination of aromas, of sounds, of textures unlocks some dusty combination of neurons and for a moment you are convinced you are experiencing the past. The feeling that something is a memory is as significant as the content.
