Now I have a followup question. It would be nice to have an English version of those lectures notes (this course is actually taught in Frenglish, and some students cannot read the French lecture notes). Of course, if I ask a random colleague how to get that, the answer will be full AI. My question is: is it possible in today’s world to actually get a skilled human being to translate such lecture notes (and get the new source files with full rights to modify them further). If yes, how much would it cost? Depending on the answer, I may be able to get my department to pay for this. But note I’m not asking for a discount price, I’m asking how much it would cost for real, so that the translator could do it with dignity and joy, and the result wouldn’t be worse than an AI translation.
