@soatok every time I see someone who’s entire moderation experience is running a private discord server for their five friends opine on what services handling hundreds of thousands (or millions) of people should do I just have to laugh, mostly because the alternative involves plane tickets and whacking people about the head and shoulders with a pool noodle.
Not that the people handling the large services necessarily get it right, but at least they’re actually aware of all the wrong things.
