Some text that resonated with me, from the exhibition book for the (highly recommended) “Beyond the Manosphere” exhibit at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam https://www.stedelijk.nl/en/exhibitions/manosphere-en. From a Socratic “interview” of the artist Tetsumi Kudo from 1974:

Q: “Does that mean we are being kept like worms in the septic pit of polluted nature and technology? In that case, what has happened to the dignity of humanity?”

A: ”You're forgetting that we dug the pit ourselves.”
