Trying to #GetFediHired as some form of controls/automation engineer in the #Portland metropolitan area - I've done a decent bit of work with SEL and Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLCs, with some support for manufacturing at my latest job and helping upgrade an old controls system from Allen Bradley to SEL Axion PLCs at a hydroelectric plant. Open to pretty much any field related to electrical engineering. Fully aware that my kind of job can't be readily done remotely, at best some degree of hybrid would be nice but also 90% of what I've done and will continue to do will inevitably be in-person or hybrid but on-call.
I will state that I have not taken the Fundamentals of Engineering exam to become an EIT, however I have the materials to study and can at least make my first attempt prior to hiring (soon... if I can get the money to pay for the fucking exam fee) or shortly after starting. Can start basically as soon as background checks and all that clears.
