The only people who can afford to turn a blind eye to the cruel realities of our current era are people who have the same skin color as Marco, who live in the same affluent places as Marco, and who have the same kind of stable income as Marco.
For the entire other half of our country, it's a different story. And *that* half is depending on the privileged white half to please fucking *do* something besides pumping out stupid blog posts calling for the polite acceptance of hateful people.
