- you don't get paid well to criticize tech. A few people might get to make it work but mostly the other side is the one with the money
- my criticism has basically destroyed my opportunities to find a different job right now that aligns with my qualifications
- A lot of the work I do is not paid at all but goes towards upskilling and informing unions and NGOs etc.
- if I wanted to make money I'd do the "reasonable AI guideline" shtick. That one can at least pay. I just don't believe in it.
