I find it absurd that the em dash is now widely perceived as an indicator of AI use. I have used it since childhood; it is part of my writing style. Sometimes inserting a brief aside within a sentence, at other times emphasizing the conclusion of a thought.

In any case, I use em dashs deliberately, and I am absolutely certain that many other writers do the same.
