When I worked at Espressif, more than once the sales team would come and say "there's this top tier customer ABC about to go to mass production and they've hit this serious bug! They're in a panic! Please make it your highest priority."
and we'd look and reply "oh yeah, this looks like the same bug reported (in more detail) by anonymous GitHub user MyDogLovesHummus22 last month. We've tested the fix already, here's how they can get it."
