I keep seeing techbro companies pop up that are using names of things that already exist. It's hard to prove but I feel like this is because they're asking an LLM for advice, and the LLM is pulling a suggestion from something in its weights.
For example, we've been running an event named Hack & Craft for years, and there's a company that started a bit ago with that name.
And now I see a "Gooseworks" company, and there's a famous trans filmmaker named Gooseworx
I dunno, can't prove it, but it seems like that's what's happening
