honestly at this point, i'm disinclined to trust anyone who has been infected with AI thinking. i just do not trust their engineering ability.
so for the long term, it would honestly be better if we had an OS that was written by people who reject it outright. just because those people would make better engineering decisions.
and our best hope is.... netbsd. which might be fine if it had a good filesystem option.
