@grimmy Yyyyyup... So I think I got po/ building and installing, finally, but now it seems that intltool-update is ignoring the strings in the .ui files even though POTFILES.in says e.g. "[type: gettext/glade] driver/prefs.ui".
This whole house of cards is certainly living up to my past experiences with it.
