My favourite memory about Homestuck is that I managed to get my brother to start reading it, he was progressing slowly, had a few big breaks. And one time when I againasked how he's doing, he said he is back at it again but all the trolls with their own thing was a bit much, there is just so many characters to keep track of.
At that point I decided to have mercy on him, and with barely contained laughter I managed to communicate that there are 4 more main kids and 12 more marginally relevant trolls down the line
In that moment, he was enlightened
And has stopped the Homestuck
