@fellmoon @chpietsch From my POV, LLMs are by design bullshit generators, they spit out the next-most-likely-word rather than using a model of truth. This benefits the people with a disdain for truth in multiple ways, first, they can use LLMs to spit out lies, second, they can use bullshit to discredit truth. Fascism is notorious for having a disdain for truth, because the truth will discredit their ideology.
Also, LLMs immensely concentrate power which is useful for the fascist project. LLM models are owned and trained by giant companies with the support of trillions of dollars. Then LLMs can be used as a chokehold on knowledge (see: rare book shredding) and can also be used to precartise labour.
AI is also-also used for surveillance which is useful to anyone who wants to control a population, which is again useful to the fascist project. As an example: this is basically what Flock cameras are for
