Like I've just been walking around my entire life without realizing I have this bone protrusion behind my jaw. That's probably a good thing... but now I know it's there!
I found out about it because I happened to get a nice reference skull (resin, not real) that can be mounted to a tripod and the instructions mentioned, "Be careful not to break the styloid process when mounting..."
