it's gonna be really nice having that working. we were just contemplating how easy it'll make it for us to do big pivots in language functionality, if we ever choose to.
there won't be any obligation to make new versions of the compiler build successfully with older ones, since the hex dump is effectively a pre-built copy. compilers usually have to worry about that.
