I long for more (genuine, non-corpo) #FOSS spaces where, when I bring up a structural/repeated problem I'm running into with some project, the response is to start figuring out how to fix that problem *in the project*, instead of drowning me in a pile of 'suggestions' and 'workarounds' or trying to justify why it can't be solved
