If you are setting off fireworks this week(end), you are a phenomenal asshole. This hot wind we’ve had for over a week now is a longer stretch than I can remember in 38 years in Colorado. It is drier than all get out. You drop one little firework cinder in the wrong place and you could kill people and burn down homes. It ain’t worth it.
Seriously though. The firefighters I work with have been on one fire after another all week. We don’t need more.
