All of which means I don't *worry* about whether my social media presence sells my work directly. I'm online to enjoy myself and chat with friends, readers, and other folks, and if the end result of that is someone is more inclined to pick up my work, great. If not, that's fine too.
(Alternately, if someone finds me annoying online, they may be *less* inclined, but, eh. I'm still going to post what I want online, and if they don't like it, that's fine.)
