@brib @fellmoon @chpietsch Andreessen actually specifically credited one of the founding futurists (Marinetti) as an early Techno-Optimist. Marinetti co-authored the Fascist Manifesto, together with Alceste de Ambris.
De Ambris would later go on to leave the movement, renounce fascism entirely and go into exile, but Marinetti remained an enthusiastic supporter of the fascist regime until he died in 1944.
