The pattern is by now well-established. Slopbros will cause problems on purpose. Someone overworked and underappreciated needs to solve that problem, and does so in a way that isn't literally perfect in every way. The rest of us are left wondering if they are also a saboteur or simply exhausted and trying to do what they can.
Conflict ensues. This is the goal. Once conflict ensues, it's easy for the sloppers to lovebomb, it's easy for them to appeal to reason.
