I have autism that is mild enough to be "independent" except this independence is a mirage thay falls apart under the slightest scrutiny.
And I'm aware that my difficulties tend to frustrate those around me. Stuff like reacting badly to routine changes and it coming across that I'm getting upset for no (or the wrong) reason
