Hell yes. One, "don't engage, just block" is a great way for dealing with shitty people. It removes them from your sight, and you don't expend any further brain cycles on them, which is good for one's mental health. Two, there are lots of people for whom a single post is enough of them for blocking purposes. Three, there are literally hundreds of millions of Threads users still available to see after you block someone! You will not lack for people to see and read on the site! Block freely!
