Just laying out here in plain: iocaine does not rely on proof of work, stays out of the way most of the time, has no AI code (nor assets, or anything), will never have any AI code, and its author is unapologetically very much anti-AI.
It still takes care of the crawlers, and can even automatically firewall them off for even lower load.
