I'm linking to this because it's an insight into the foolishness that dominates tech. The text itself is filled with internal contradictions (look at all these people doing variations on exactly what my company is doing) and smacks of cognitive dissonance ("we can sidestep arguments about the precise utility of LLMs entirely" in a post entirely about the uselessness of the tech).
