To me, that’s Trump’s entire governing philosophy. Don’t fix the problem. Paint over it. Debt exploding? Tell everyone you're bringing in trillions of dollars. Prices rising? Tell everyone inflation is defeated. Farmers struggling? Hold a photo-op and declare they’re thriving. A war spiraling out of control? Announce everything is going great. Just paint over it. Just tell people it’s fixed. But reality eventually wins. The algae always comes back. Ben Meiselas A
