although async file i/o is banned in freebsd now unless you've got the magic capability for security reasons, so it's not really a good platform to do async file i/o on any more.

the i/o reactor is also going to be message queue powered and can also go to sleep while waiting for stuff to happen. except that it's io-uring powered and that will have to do the sleep instead of just the plain eventfd i use now. i don't htink it will be super challenging, but i do want to make sure we can reuse as much as possible.

But the "create an account" flow DOES check against both primary and secondary email addresses. So, you run right into a roadblock with no explanation. In other words: amateur hour.)

This isn't talked about much at least that I've seen, but I feel like this single feature, if it also gets implemented on Android and starts being utilised by developers, could go a very long way in making web apps as efficient to navigate as native mobile ones. Some categories of apps could get massive productivity boosts from this.
