The world is a poorer place this evening.

Her last album, Rockstar, was so typically Dolly. When she was nominated for entry into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Dolly Parton declined the honour saying she wasn't a rock singer.

And then turned around and made an album of rock covers, collaborating with some of the greatest names in rock. Joan Jett, Steven Tyler, Richie Sambora, Stevie Nicks and many more ... all happy to appear just as featured artists on an album that even in her late 70s, showed off Dolly's expressive voice.

If you only know her from Jolene and 9 To 5, give this one a listen. She was truly great.

Finally managed to build and run my app on a new machine. Two days of fiddling with paths, settings, comparing to a minimal working project (which is now completely different from mine started several years ago)… And what finally did it was trying an older JVM (21, in my case). No idea how I got this lucky thought!

The main idea was to have a high-end enclosure for the classic MNT Reform mainboard to give it a second life, but you can as well build an open hardware computer from the parts.
