A take on MC Escher's artwork "Drawing Hands". In the original, two hands, one right, one left, come to life from the paper on which they are drawn, to draw each other. In this variation, one of the hands is human and drawing the other, whereas the other hand is robotic and holding the other end of the pencil to erase the human hand.

Timeline:
- Until end of 2026: Normal operations.

- Jan 2028: SVN also read-only.

Reason: The underlying FusionForge software is no longer maintained.

somebody in a chat asked us what we did about DOES>, a few weeks ago

Evocation does not have an equivalent to DOES>, not for any principled reason, just because we didn't know about it. it had been on our back burner to figure out, for some time.

anyway we went and read about it now and we understand how it's implemented. we don't think we actually have a use for it, heh.

there we go. the "enchant" and "inscribe" words now work on hex.e just the same as they do on evoke.e, which required teaching them about alternative executable structures

the actual binary of hex has not changed, only the way it's built, so no need to re-audit it. we've been taking pains about that, it's only changed once and that was for freebsd compatibility.

@db that's what Trump did. No matter what her says, his supporters somehow always reinterpret it the way favorable to them (even when it's directly opposite). So he doubled down on everything and that brought him into presidency, no less.

I'm not sure it can be replicated though.

I love doing laundry. The fact I am putting a combo of powders and liquids in a machine that whirrs around the dirty clothes and them coming out completely clean again, and then putting the wet things in another machine that whirrs them around with hot air and then I get clothes as good as new out at the end?! This is so wild and so overlooked. Absolute witchcraft!
